Apple iPhone 5S concept visualizes large display and 12-megapixel camera

There are a lot of speculation surrounding the release date of the iPhone 5S, which is rumored to happen sometime this fall. It looks like the handset will be a minor upgrade. We have seen several concepts in the past months and now there is another one that takes a intriguing look at how the new iOS 7 and a camera spec upgrade will look like on the next iPhone.

Of course, this is not the official iPhone 5S, but the concept offers an idea of what the smartphone could offer and is created by the designed Arthur Reis and YouTube user Ran Avni.

It is also rumored that the iPhone 5S will come with a larger display, improved camera set-up and more color options and these are reflected in the latest concept. Dubbed as the ‘All New’ iPhone this design features a larger screen with improved resistance to scratching, thinner borders, and a new ring/silent button. Although the display is larger, the form factor manages to be 5% thinner and it is reduced in height from the current iPhone 5.

Also, the iPhone 5S is envisioned in three color choices – black and silver, black and slate and white and silver. Additionally, the iPhone 5S has recently been rumored to come in gold color variant. Interestingly, the concept includes a 12.1-megapixel iSight Pro rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel full HD iSight front facing camera.

When it comes to the rumored specifications, the iPhone 5S is expected to boast of a 4.8-inch display, A7X quad-core processor, iOS 7, 2GB RAM and 16/32/64/128GB internal storage. Other rumored goodies on board include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, 3G, NFC and an enhanced battery life.
